While he did not directly state it, Fani-Kayode is believed to be
reacting to the news that went viral yesterday that the party had appointed a
former Borno State governor, Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff, as its chairman.
The party chieftain, an avid social media user, took to his Twitter handle to express this on Tuesday evening.
He said:
Modu-Sheriff’s appointment is yet to be ratified by the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party.
